Students have been casting their votes this week for the best book for kids in the state of Texas. Results to be revealed in Februrary. Next week students who read 10 or more Bluebonnet books will be coming to a private party in the library- our first annual BlueBonnet Bash. I'm looking forward to this exclusive event with our hard working readers! We also had our first author visit on January 18. Vuthy Kuon visited with students in grades 3, 4, and 5 and shared his inspiring story of why he became a children's book author, illustrator and writer.
